Day 1: Ho Chi Minh city arrival

Arrival Ho Chi Minh city.
Driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer to hotel in the central to check -in (check-in time 14h00).
Have a rest and Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh city – Cu Chi tunnel

08:00 AM: Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office.
Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
12:00 PM: Have lunch at the local restaurant.
Then continue to Cu Chi Tunnel:

• You’ll have a chance to watch the documentary and see self-made weapon, bamboo traps,…and see how guerrillas dug , lived and fought inside the tunnels as well as learning how the strength of will against sophisticated weapon.
• You can crawl in the tunnels if you wish.
• Know how the locals make rice paper, rice wine.
• Try to fire AK-47. (600.000 VND /Bullets) and the steamed cassava
• 18:00: Leave Cu Chi, return HCM center

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh city – Mekong cruise. Overnight on cruise

7h30am: We pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city (in the central of District 1) and take you to the pier where you board your comfortable river cruiser. As lunch is served, the boat starts cruising. Sit back and watch the fantastic scenery and the daily life of the Mekong Delta people. In the afternoon you can disembark for a guided leisurely stroll through a village and the surrounding fruit orchards or rice fields. Meet the friendly locals and taste the local produce and fruits. The day ends with a delicious on-board dinner before you retire to your cosy cabin for the night.

Day 4: Mekong cruise – Ho Chi Minh city

On this day,  you wake up well rested to the sound of the river and get ready for another exciting day of sightseeing in the Mekong Delta. Watch the locals go about their daily work drying exotic fruits and building ships on the wooden yards.
Depending on the booked tour, we will board a sampan boat to Cai Rang floating market, the region’s busiest and most lively markets. Marvel at the sheer abundance of exotic fruits, vegetables and skilfully handcrafted regional products. We will pull up to the boats for talking and bargaining with the merchants. After the excursion to the market it is time to start the journey back to Ho Chi Minh city. From Can Tho we travel by road back to Ho Chi Minh city.

Noted: On the Odd-day, you will start to visit from Cai Be and finish in Can Tho.
On the Even-day, you start visit from Can Tho and finish in Cai Be. If your tour started in Can Tho, you will board a small rowing sampan to explore the small canals around Cai Be or explore the surrounding area by foot.
