DETAIL ITINERARY
You will be warmly welcomed upon arrival at airport in Hanoi and transferred to your hotel. You will have free time. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
A O Show as optional
The name ‘A O’ derives from ‘Lang Pho’, which means ‘village and city’. The show depicts the charming beauty and cultural richness of Vietnamese life in the countryside, in contrast with the nation’s racing urbanization. The show is a unique mix of bamboo circus, acrobatic acts, dance, and theatrical visual art. The live music echoes Vietnamese Southern work songs. All in all, this beautiful blend of genres creates a unique stage language, which well captures the essence of Vietnam’s fascinating culture.
Giant woven baskets turn into flamingos and crabs, among other imaginative creatures and contraptions, thanks to the clever performers behind the A O Show. Visit the historic Saigon Opera House in Ho Chi Minh City for this sophisticated cultural show featuring traditional music, dance and acrobatics. Beautiful choreography and stunning optical illusions lend to a story about how a rural Vietnamese community adapts to urbanization. Grab a complimentary beverage before settling into your seat for the family-friendly performance.
Guests ride pillion behind Indochina Today Travel drivers to enjoy and experience the Vietnamese night life with friends. This tour includes free flowing drinks and all you can eat, so come with an appetite.
The À Ố Show combines exciting elements such as bamboo cirque, acrobatics, contemporary dance, and theatrical visual arts. This marvelous show is performed at the Saigon Opera House and is a must-do while visiting Saigon.
Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel (family home-stay with dinner can be arranged on request). Free time to visit bustling Can Tho market.
Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river ( Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Rang floating market (& Phong Dien is optional), which are the liveliest in the whole religion.
Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a “Monkey bridge” which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Back to HCM city.
Located 60km from HCMC, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists – the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.
Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a “Free Target Zone”.
Start our tour in the morning, before entering the tunnels visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Return to Sai Gon.

*Hoi An Memories Show
This grand cultural performance sweeps you up and takes you on a journey. You see the town grow beginning as a small farmer’s house with his new family, then around them, Hoi An springs from the earth. The show moves through the ages portraying Hoi An’s construction, royal marriage alliances, the introduction of lanterns and trade and foreign influence.
The show itself is on a purpose-built island on the Thu Bon River. Carved from a massive triangle at the tip of the island and assembled to look like two opposing river banks in Hoi An.
Be amazed by the world’s largest outdoor show that features more than 500 performers!

Hue has many well-known places to visit, but if you have only half a day then I think you should visit two very prominent place-names as Thien Mu Pagoda and Hue Citadel.
Our guide will pick up you and start with a visit to the Imperial Citadel, which is a walled fortress and was intended to be a copy of Chinese Emperors’ Forbidden City in Beijing, China. After accessing the Ngo Mon Gate, we will take in the Purple Forbidden City. The Forbbiden City was reserved for the Nguyen royal family from the 18th century until the mid-1900s. Unfortunately, American bombing in 1968 in response to a communist takeover of Hue flattened most of the city. As we can see, only a few buildings are left such as Thai Hoa Temple, Can Thanh Temple, The Mieu, and Hieu Lam Cac, but all the remains make a well worth visit.
Leave the Imperial Citadel we drive along the bank of Huong river to Thien Mu Pagoda. Here we visit the 7-storey octagonal tower, a symbol of Hue. Afterwards, transfer back to your hotel. Tour ends. Royal Dinner as optional
In the evening, you can enjoy Special Royal Dinner on Perfume River with live traditional music performances. Be a King & Queen in Royal Dinner with Royal long Dresses!
Cyclo is one of the most typical vehicles that tourists often see when they travel to Vietnam. Hue cyclo tour was organized to bring you a new and interesting experience when sitting on this special vehicle and going through the city streets. Besides, this tour also helps you have a chance to explore the famous tourist destinations in Hue such as the Citadel and Dong Ba market and watch the daily life of local people. Surely, Hue cyclo tour will bring you unforgettable memories.
Your guide and cyclo will pick you up at your hotel/stay in Hue City Centre. And then go through some streets to the Imperial Citadel – The home of Vietnam’s last royal dynasty- the Nguyen Dynasty.
Continue to visit The royal Antiques Museum: A gallery of antiques displaying a collection of bronze pottery, Chinaware, Phap Lam enamel, court robes, head- gear and personal belongings of former Vietnam Emperors of Nguyen Dynasty.
You again sit on your cyclo to visit Dong Ba Market – The biggest commercial center of Hue city. All of the most special cultural gifts and souvenirs can be found in Dong Ba market. Finish tour. Cyclo will bring you back to your hotel.
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the airport to fly to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi. Hanoi Street Food tour as optional
Highlights:
Sample delicious Vietnamese cuisine just like the locals do – on the street. Stroll through hidden alleyways and bustling markets of Hanoi’s charming old quarter. Learn more about Hanoi’s unique food culture. Try local specialties with influences from French and Chinese cuisine. Take in a spectacular night view of Hoan Kiem lake from a secret cafe Fascinating cyclo-tour to discover the 36 ancient Streets of Hanoi Old Quarter with its ancient buildings and temples, transparent lakes and old cultural features.
Itinerary of three-hour street food tour by walking. We start our excellent street food walking tour at 74 Hang Bac Street at Kim Tours’ Building in the old quarter of Hanoi. Along the perimeter of the market, dozens of street hawkers sell a staggering variety of produce from live seafood to exotic fruits and spices. Your expert English-speaking local guide will give you an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese food culture including details on ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. We eat as we go, trying different street food dishes and sampling a tasty French-inspired snack from a street cart and local street food restaurants.
Walking through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter, we tempt our tastebuds with the famed Hanoi street food dishes such as Bun Cha ( The 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017- Obama’s dish in Hanoi), Nom Bo Kho, Banh Cuon, Viet Fried Spring Rolls. “Spring roll is one of Viet Nam’s best-loved dishes. These traditional Vietnamese spring rolls were originally made from shrimp, pork, carrot, crab, veggies within a roll”, at a local eatery (Small restaurants, some outside, some inside). Watch in awe as the skilled chefs demonstrate for you how this tasty dish is put together. Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter, we wander past street stalls and quiet residential lanes where you can observe local life that has changed little since Hanoi was founded over 1000 years ago.
Our next two snack stops are at outdoor barbeque stalls. We sit down with the Hanoi locals and sample various meat, vegetable and bread specialties that are flame grilled over hot coals for extra flavor. It’s then time for dessert as we venture down a small alley to join in the local tradition of feasting on fresh fruit served in a cup and smothered with crushed iced and condensed milk – this specialty is one not to be missed! Your local guide will then take you to one of Hanoi’s best kept secrets, a hidden street food restaurant to taste the top ten street foods in Hanoi is Banh My Hanoi, Vietnamese Rice Wine, and famous Egg Coffee in Hanoi. This hard-to-find café is one of the few left in the narrow street inside the old quarter of Hanoi. Or, if coffee is not your style, a cold beer awaits ! At the end of the trip, you are free to continue exploring the area or your guide will assist you with directions or a taxi back to your hotel.
AM. 7.45 – 8.15. Free pick up at your hotel. Then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door

Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam), then visit Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri). Lunch at local restaurant.
PM. After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat), the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 – it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple.
Then you will visit Hanoi train street. Disguised amidst the hectic, cramped streets of the Hanoi Old Quarter lies a funky little area, where motorbikes or even cars are no longer the biggest danger to locals stepping outside of their front door. They’re now replaced by high-speed trains, hurling through the residential street, just only feet away from people everyday lives including their dishes and laundry drying by the tracks, which all define the Hanoi Train Street.
There are two trains that run along this route daily, one at 3:30 pm and another one at 7:30 pm. To gain the best photograph, we choose the train at 3:30 pm for the daylight. It is conspicuous that to be safe, travelers should observe carefully to find a safe spot to watch from and a good view. The train usually comes from the South to the North, so you can decide where to watch from. During watching train, you can enjoy food & drinks on the track, and experience the local life.
