We’ll greet our participants on arrival in Siem Reap and welcome them into Cambodia for our first day of the trip.

After arriving in Cambodia, we’ll spend our first full day learning about the history of the Khmer Empire with a morning visit to the Angkor National Museum before exploring Kbal Spean.

We’ll the spend our second full day on a day trip to explore the massive temple complex of Angkor Wat to get a glimpse into the heart of a once mighty empire.

For our third full day in Siem Reap, visit two major religious sites from the Khmer Empire- Phimeanakas and the Reclining Buddha of Baphuon Temple.

We’ll then spend our fourth full day exploring more of the architecture of the Khmer Empire’s complexes with visits to Ta Prohm and Neak Pean.

After that, we’ll spend our next day with a visit to APOPO Visitor Center to learn about the impact of recent evens on historical conservation by meeting with a team of mice helping to locate and disable landmines laid out in the jungle during the Khmer Rouge.

Participants will then get a free day to explore Siem Reap on their own and learn more about the local history and culture for their final full day before departure.

We’ll then help our participants reach their flights before departing Cambodia and the friends we met along the journey.
