Full Day: Temple of Literature – One Pillar Pagoda – Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

At 8:00 AM, our guide will pick you up from your hotel in the Old Quarter to start our journey with a visit to the Temple of Literature, also known as Quoc Tu Giam, Vietnam’s first university. Initially built as a school for princes and royal descendants, it later became a center for educating the country’s scholars.

Next, we’ll explore the One Pillar Pagoda, a significant architectural landmark in Hanoi. Stepping inside, you’ll immerse yourself in its historical symbolism, reflecting on heroic tales and honoring exceptional contributions.

Nearby, we’ll visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where you can learn about the life and enduring legacy of President Ho Chi Minh. Explore his stilt house and gain deeper insights into his profound influence.

Note: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and related museums are closed on Mondays and Fridays. We’ll provide alternative options if your visit falls on these days.

Visit the Museum of Ethnology, a unique institution dedicated to Vietnam’s 54 officially recognized ethnic groups. Explore exhibits featuring artifacts, films, and images depicting the daily lives, clothing, agricultural tools, and customs of Vietnam’s diverse ethnic minorities.

After this enriching experience, we’ll return to Hanoi’s Old Quarter and take a leisurely stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake to admire its scenic beauty, including the Turtle Tower, The Huc Bridge, and Ngoc Son Temple.
